How To Switch Off AVC on Spektrum SR6100AT Receiver

Hi there! If you recently got the ARRMA Kraton 8S, want to get more steering out of your truck and need to switch off AVC on the Spektrum SR6100AT Receiver, here’s how to do it, especially if you found the steps listed in the manual doesn’t work for you:

  1. When you power on your receiver, press the Bind button 3 times within 1.5 seconds, then IMMEDIATELY press and hold the Bind button to put the receiver in Bind mode.
  2. Bind it to your transmitter.
  3. That’s it! When you switch off and on your vehicle, the Receiver should flash 3 times to show that AVC has been disabled.

Some people, including myself, have found that we got more steering out of the ARRMA Kraton 8S by increasing the Travel setting on our Spektrum DX5 series transmitter to 150.

Try it out for yours. Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Theo
